Hey there!
My name is Nikolay, I am a teacher of russian as a foreign language. I have a degree at Russian language, so I know how to teach. I do this for living for the past 6 years – I teach Russian to students from all over the world.
My students are very diverse group of people:
— school students (from elementary to high school), university students and people who already graduated from the university;
— military (both academy students and officers), civilians with various professions;
— people with different background, education level, social status, cultural traditions and religious beliefs;
— individuals and groups.
You will learn Russian with me even if it is completely new language for you. If you already have some knowledge of Russian, I will help you to develop it. At my classes I use my own teaching methods, individual programs and personal approach to each student. I have a foreign experience, I worked in Myanmar and taught Russian to myanmar military officers.
At my classes student is an active participant in the learning process, not a passive observer at my “one man show”. So be ready to fruitful and constructive cooperation under my guidance. Specially for you I have best practices of different teaching materials, textbooks and assignments. In exchange I expect a passion for knowledge from you.
My area of expertise is phonetics, communicative grammar, conversational practice, listening comprehension, writing and critical reading. I’ve taken refresher training courses at my field of study.
It would my pleasure to open the doors for you into beautiful world of Russian language and culture! But first I need to assess your current level of Russian and your purpose to learn Russian.
