О себе
После защиты докторской в Голландии в 2002 г., 17-й год преподаю английский в Китае в статусе носителя языка. Преподавал все имеющиеся в вузовской учебной программе курсы, связанные с английским языком от подготовки к IELTS до British Culture и руководства дипломными проектами на английском. 18 лет отработал в вузах, 1 год в школе, в маленьком городе Шанцю. В классах было от 75 до 100 человек.
lI’ve taught English for Academic Purposes, English Writing, Conversational English, Literature, Newspaper Reading, British Culture, Extensive Reading, Comprehensive English, Listening to the English majors at the university level in China for more than 16 years in China.
lWorked out my own courses in Conversational English, English Writing, Listening, Newspaper Reading and Russian Writing for colleges and high schools in China.
lConsulted the Chinese university teachers of English on the curriculum development and teaching different subjects in the English curriculum
lConsulted the teachers of Russian on teaching Oral Russian and using the media for the language teaching.
lAdvised students on their BA dissertations in Literature, Cultural Comparisons and Applied Linguistics for 8 years.
lI’ve chaired the research groups in different colleges, some of them up to 15 college teachers and students preparing for academic careers and their articles get published in peer-reviewed editions in Asia.
lTaught Russian at Chinese universities for more than 2 years.
lTaught and coordinated English Writing courses in Chinese universities for 10 years.
lPublished articles on teaching English in China and Chinese university life (in English and in Russian) in peer-refereed journals.
lParticipated in many international conferences and forums on Language Teaching, Linguistics, Culture Studies and Philosophy
l17 undergraduates in the research group I’ve supervised presented their findings at international TEFL, EFL, TESOL, Linguistics conferences in many Asian counties.
lTaught the Conversational English course online to students in Russia.
