I specialize in students from 1.5 to 7 years old (only individual lessons, not for a group of children)

I am an outgoing, discrete and trustworthy individual. I enjoy working as part of a team, but I am also confident working on my own.I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where I attended public school. While in school I developed an interest in theater and went through the Drama Academy acting course which I feel has helped me become a very affective communicator. It is very helpful as it relates to being able to communicate with children especially those who speak a different language. I've found that a combination of good communication skills with a little drama for emphasis helps a child’s mind work more actively.

Being raised in a bilingual (English/Spanish) household has also proven to be very beneficial as it relates to helping others develop fluency in a foreign language. I believe that it gives me first-hand knowledge of the thought process as it relates translating things back and forth. I like to think of myself as being personable and having a good sense of humor. On my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball and going to the gym as well attending ethnic or cultural events. I also consider myself a very reliable/ trustworthy person. I am very discrete as it relates to the families that I work for and try to be very aware of their needs and wants. I tend to take a lot of pride in my work and personal life and have been told that I am very patient with children. Time and time again I have proven to be flexible and respond well to short notice type travel arrangements.
I am currently looking for a long term position as a Governor/Male Nanny, as I want to further my career working with children and continue to build on my own skills and knowledge.
