О себе

My current occupation is a Senior University Lecturer in Linguistics at the Department of the English Language № 1 in MGIMO University MID RF (Ministry of International Affairs in the Russian Federation), an ESOL English Teacher and ESOL Cambridge Examiner in two Moscow ESOL Exam Centers — Moscow Language Link RU008 and Education English First RU011.

My level of education is PhD. I have two university diplomas of higher education with honours – Diploma of Specialist and a Master of Arts Postgraduate Diploma in Philology. In 2010 I was awarded the highest academic degree at the level of Candidate of Science in Philology. The title of my PhD scientific research work was “Lingvo-semiotical Classification of Comical Absurdity in the Internet Communication”. I have a number of scientific publications in this field. My current scientific research interest is in the field of “Entertainment discourse”.

Before getting my PhD degree in Philology I had been teaching English as a Secondary School subject. I had been working as a Secondary School Teacher for 3 years at Volgograd State Secondary School №140. In 2012 I successfully finished a CELTA training course in Oxford to teach English as a Second or Foreign Language.

Summarizing the information above, I have a recognized PhD degree in Linguistics, a recognized TESOL qualification, a recognized degree in education and comprehensive knowledge of the English language and language teaching.
